Knit Pick

Approaching knitting like the nerd I am; I thought I would join message boards on how to knit! I wasn't successful! Found great patterns tho'... which I can't seem to follow without the skills.
The other day my old family friend emailed me some awesome patterns of pirates to celebrate the International Talk Like a Pirate Day . Argh! lookin fer a knittin yer a scarf!!!

If any one has the awesome skills of knitting, can you teach me with a trade of some of my artwork perhaps? If you are in Vegas or LA send me an email!!!
